Kubwa School Outreach – Faith, Health & Leadership Initiative

Program Overview

As part of our ongoing commitment to raising a generation of responsible, healthy, and purpose-driven young people, ReachLife Foundation carried out a school outreach in Kubwa under the Faith, Health & Leadership Initiative.

This outreach was implemented in collaboration with the Precious Anoshiri Foundation, demonstrating the power of partnership in expanding impact and reaching more young people with meaningful guidance and support.

The session focused on equipping students with practical knowledge, values, and decision-making skills necessary for personal growth and a better future.

Leadership: Students were guided on responsible decision-making, resisting negative peer pressure, and developing leadership qualities early in life.
Emergency Awareness: Basic emergency awareness and first aid principles were introduced to help students respond appropriately in urgent situations.

Makurdi Healthcare Scholarship Graduation – Hope Healthcare Scholarship Program

Program Overview

ReachLife Foundation successfully held the graduation ceremony for the first cohort of beneficiaries of the Hope Healthcare Scholarship Program in Makurdi, Benue State.

A total of 17 participants completed the program, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to empowering young people with practical skills, knowledge, and career opportunities within the healthcare sector.

The program was delivered in partnership with MedScholar Academy, combining structured learning with hands-on training to ensure participants were well-prepared for real-world healthcare environments.

Makurdi School Outreach – Faith, Health & Leadership Initiative

Program Overview

Leadership: Students were guided on resisting negative peer pressure, making responsible decisions, and developing leadership qualities from an early stage.

Successfully reached and engaged 397 students across three secondary schools in one day.

December Hope Scholarship – Healthcare Training Initiative

Health, Hope & Awareness Outreach

Program Overview

This mobile outreach was organized in recognition of World AIDS Day to provide free health screening, education, counselling, and emotional support in a safe and stigma-free environment.

The outreach emphasized confidentiality, dignity, and open community engagement.

Gwarinpa Village Mission & Medical Outreach

Program Overview

ReachLife Foundation conducted a community medical outreach in Gwarinpa Village to provide free, essential healthcare services to residents with limited access to care.

Empowering the Next Generation of Healthcare Support Professionals

Program Overview

In partnership with MedScholar Academy, ReachLife Foundation launched a structured scholarship and training initiative to address the shortage of skilled healthcare support professionals in Benue State.

The program is designed to equip participants with practical, hands-on skills required to support licensed healthcare professionals in hospitals, clinics, and care facilities.

Training is ongoing toward the target of 200 beneficiaries across Benue State.

Empowering Students for Lifelong Health

Program ID: RLF-PRO-002 Date: June 2020 Completed Location: FGC, Otobi, Otukpo LGA, Benue State

Program Overview

ReachLife Foundation implemented a school health outreach at Otobi Government Secondary School to promote holistic wellbeing among students during a period of increased public health concern.

The program focused on preventive health education, personal hygiene, mental wellbeing, and responsible lifestyle choices, while also reinforcing values of self-care and community responsibility.

The outreach was conducted in collaboration with school authorities and facilitated by trained volunteers. Activities were delivered as planned, with emphasis on student engagement, safety, and responsible use of resources.

Addressing Healthcare Needs of Inmates in Otukpo Correctional Facility

Program ID: RLF-PRO-001 Date: 25 December 2018 Completed Location: Otukpo LGA, Benue State

Program Overview

ReachLife Foundation carried out a targeted institutional medical outreach at the Otukpo Correctional Facility to respond to the limited access to healthcare services available to inmates.

The intervention focused on providing basic medical care, identifying untreated conditions, offering health education, and delivering counselling and spiritual support in a respectful and dignified environment.
